Embedding Goals
Embedding goals into the student's daily routine is another strategy that
breaks down the day into manageable parts. While as teachers we all embed goals
into a student's daily activities, it is important to develop schedules that
specifically address each child's communicative goals. Such an approach also
helps us shape the forms of communication behaviors into more recognizable
messages. Below is an example of a daily routine and opportunities to teach the
