VIDBE-Q Volume 66 Issue 3
The issue begins with an engaging article from a future teacher of students
with visual impairments as she shares examples and suggestions for using
LEGO® Braille Bricks with students with blindness and low vision. Next, one of
our board members shares suggestions on how to support social emotional
informed practice with students. Then, learn about how you can utilize an online
module to promote access.
The issue ends with an article from the DVIDB president elect sharing
information about the CEC Leadership Conference that took place this summer and
information about getting involved in DVIDB leadership. Lastly, read about Erika
Fundelius, the first Research and Practice Grant award winner, as she shares how
she entered the field and how she will use the grant to support her upcoming
research.
