In addition to teachers of the visually impaired pursuing individual
professional development, we must work together in this effort to improve
our knowledge and skills to meet the needs of all of our students. The
Oregon CVI Extravaganza and the creation of the CVI PLT is part of an
effort to stay abreast of these changes in the understanding of CVI and to
help all TVI's learn how to meet the unique needs of our students
throughout the state.
