VIDBE-Q Volume 68 Issue 3 55 Marc Ashton, FBC's CEO, explains the organization's philosophy: FBC raises the expectations of our students, their families, and the community. FBC graduates have one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country because we expect our students to grow up and go to work. We expect them to do well in school. We expect their teachers to hold our students accountable. We show families that their child will succeed. Our students can and do overcome the obstacle of vision loss.
