This issue is a wonderful collection of highlights from this year's annual convention in Tampa, FL! This issue is a great way to explore some of the amazing things in the field of visual impairments and deafblindness that were featured at the CEC Annual Convention and Expo. This issue begins with articles featuring the DVIDB Award Winners for 2018. The following articles are summaries of presentations from this year's convention with applications for the field. I will let the articles speak for the mselves, but please make sure to read them all, because you will find excellent ideas and suggestions for practitioners and researchers included throughout this issue.
