Author Note
The authors represent former scholars and a faculty mentor from the
LIMITLESS program at Illinois State University. Katie Stuepfert served as an
adjunct lecturer and the SLP mentor for the program. Ellie Bell, teacher of the deaf
and hard of hearing, was in the first cohort group of LIMITLESS from 2020-2022
and is currently a practicing Developmental Therapist-Hearing in early
intervention after completion of the program. Mary Finnerty, current teacher of
students with visual impairments, was in the second cohort group of LIMITLESS
from 2022-2024 and is additionally working as a Developmental - Therapist-
Vision in early intervention after completion of the program. Drawing from their
distinct professional backgrounds and shared experiences in the LIMITLESS
program, these authors come together to highlight the benefits of interdisciplinary
collaboration in early intervention.
