Two of the mentors were able to visit in person and spent extended time
with the students. The students really seemed to enjoy spending time with mentors
in person and enjoyed activities such as playing Uno, archery and fishing with the
mentors. Pictures of the mentors at camp are shown below in Figure 3 and Figure
4.

Overall, the Transitions Grant project was a great success and a starting
point for identifying and developing resources for transition that can be used by
educators, parents and administrators who provide services for children with low
incidence sensory disabilities. Additional grant projects will continue to build on
these resources and include additional areas of the ECC in the Transition
