DVIDB webinars are free for DVIDB members and $15 for non-members.

DVIDB will again offer two $1000 funding opportunities via a competitive
grant to provide support for innovative teaching practices for individuals with
visual impairments. Information and a link to an online application will be
available on the DVIDB website and posted to our social media channels. Eligible
applicants must be a current member of DVIDB and work in the field of visual
impairments or deafblindness. The DVIDB Innovative Teaching Grant recognizes
DVIDB members for their contributions to improved approaches to instruction.
Projects eligible are those developed by Teachers of the Visually Impaired, O&M
Specialists, Vision Rehabilitation Therapists, and others who provide educational
services to individuals with visual impairments.
As the trees blossom, early flowers push through the ground, and the
weather turns warm, spring is a wonderful time to renew our commitments to what
we value most. While this is often a busy time for educators, it is also a time to
reflect on how students have grown during the academic year. I hope you take the
time to celebrate the milestones reached.
