VIDBE-Q Volume 66 Issue 1 pathology, education of the visually impaired, orientation and mobility, occupational and physical therapy, and counseling. Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to: 1. identify factors that are commonly associated with emotional / attentional dysregulation in blind and visually impaired individuals (eye conditions, experience, trust, neurological functioning). 2. perform and teach at least three self-regulation activities with embedded literacy activities that can be used with students who are blind and visually impaired. 3. access a variety of resources to support teaching self-regulation to children and teens with visual impairment.
