Using a 5-point Likert scale, 95.7% of a sample of 745 users reported that they learned new information from the OHOA modules. All network partners agree that using OHOA, as with any online resource, cannot replace the need for onsite technical assistance and individualized support for teams. However, many are finding that OHOA may be used to supplement outreach and technical assistance to diverse regions in a state. The following eight OHOA modules are now available for universal registration through the NCDB website. Another ten modules are currently being field-tested and eight more are in development this spring/summer. When the project is completed in 2016, OHOA will consist of a total of 26 modules which align with the Council for Exceptional Children's Specialization Knowledge and Skill Set for Paraeducators Who Are Interveners for Individuals with Deaf-Blindness (CEC, 2009).
