; Lorem Ipsum Dolor Spring 2016 3 Unique Features: The most unique feature of our program, and the driving force behind our success, is the strong collaboration between UNL, NDE, and NCECBVI. NDE recognizes the need for this training program in our state, and has provided funding, technical assistance and support for the UNL-VI program to continue. NCECBVI takes a strong role in recruitment for the program as well as steady resources, which comes across in the brief history of our program. The UNL Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders has also maintained a commitment to hiring faculty with expertise in visual impairments and providing program support to ensure A UNL-VI graduate student working with a student from NCECBVI's 2014 summer camp at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo. 53
