VIDBE-Q 2026 Volume 71 Issue 3 Lowenfeld-Akeson Early Years Symposium. This single day event brings nationally recognized professionals from both the medical and educational fields, as well as parents and family members, to the CSB campus to discuss innovations, strategies and issues related to the development of infants and toddlers who are blind, visually impaired, and DeafBlind. It is one of the few opportunities for many families in California to share their experiences with each other and with professionals from the fields of medicine, education and Early Childhood Intervention at the same time.
