Confirmation
Confirmation involves providing accessible feedback that validates
performance, acknowledges attempts and increases understanding for students
who are deafblind. This type of feedback is an important communication
strategy that builds trust and can have a meaningful impact. With the use of
confirmation, an educator or service provider is developing a feedback loop.
Providing confirmational feedback for on-task behavior can assist in
motivating and encouraging the participation of students who are deafblind. It
is important that educators and service providers maintain proximity and
