VIDBE-Q Volume 66 Issue 4 Kathleen M. Farrand, Arizona State University, Kathleen.Farrand@asu.edu One of the common questions I get from educators is, "how can I involve families in what students are learning?". Creating and supporting a home and school connection can be a daunting idea for new and seasoned educators. Creating a home and school collaboration has come to the forefront in recent years due to COVID-19 and the increasing use of online and hybrid learning models. I am a former classroom teacher and a current associate professor that educates future early childhood special educators at the college level. One of my main areas and passions is working with in-service and pre-service educators to conduct research to identify strategies and resources for improved social and academic success for students. This work has led to a focus on ways to involve families. In this article I will share some relevant literature on ways that school and home collaborations are being created and why they are important. Then, I will share some strategies for Involving Families with Learning at School and Home: Strategies for Educators
