VIDBE-Q Volume 66 Issue 4 literacy. The last article directed at providing tools for parents was selected because it addresses a topic which can be easily overlooked by families—the mental health of their children with visual impairments. It is contributed by Dr. DeMarquis Hayes, a Licensed School Psychologist and Assistant Dean at Texas A&M University-Commerce. Rounding out our issue, is a piece by Dr. Kathleen Farrand which provides educators with tools for working with families. It is my sincere hope that you find these works informative and take away concrete ideas for implementation. Happy reading and learning!
