VIDBE-Q Volume 65 Issue 4 became part of their homework to practice with the residential life staff. On the weekends, parents would also be able to see their child's growth and practice the skill. A majority of the parents and the residential life staff participated in this activity which made a significant growth in areas beyond their ECC goals. It also created a strong line of communication between the adults in the team as the students gained independence. The unit exceeded my own expectations because a month later when the students experienced difficulty with a novel task, they said, "I think I need to make this my new goal."
