8 VIDBE - Q Volume 62 Issue 4 has become a wonderful resource full of research and practitioner information. More recently, the "Q" has begun peer reviewing research submissions. This is a wonderful addition to our field . I know that there is so much more that we have done from working with governmental relations, participating in the interdivision caucus, supporting others in the field, and representation for the National Leadership Consortium for Sensory Disabilities to just name a few. I just want to say… THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! I wish President - elect, Amy Parker, all the best as she begins her presidency. I know that she will serve this division well and I look forward to supporting her in her work. I have come to appreciate this field even more and the work that we do during my term as president. I have made memories that will last a lifetime and have learned lessons all along the way that have made me a better person! Thank you for electing me a nd giving me the support and opportunity to give back to the field. I am truly humbled and blessed. Tiffany Wild 2016 - 2017 DVIDB President
