Illin ois St ate Un ive rsity Early Intervention Graduate Certificates Expanding Skills of Specialists in the Fields of Deaf or Vision Education to Include Early Intervention The AIM To Be Ahead and EL VISTA programs at Illinois State University (ISU) are each a one-year, five-course sequence of study aimed at increasing the number and quality of personnel prepared to provide early intervention for Illinois children who are deaf and hard of hearing, blind/visually impaired or deafblind. Upon completion, candidates will have earned a graduate certificate from ISU as a: • Deaf and Hard of Hearing Listening and Spoken Language Professional, or an • Early Intervention Vision Specialist Contact us for more information.
