Ad Hoc Committee on DVIDB Position Papers Deborah Hatton, Chair Donna Brostek-Lee, Co-chair Jennifer Cmar, Sandra Lewis, Tiffany Wild, Catherine Greeley-Bennett, Sarah Ivy, Mackenzie Savaiano Committee Report April 3, 2016 Since the 2015 CEC Conference in San Diego, the committee has made progress on four position papers. The position paper on the role and function of orientation and mobility specialists was updated and presented to the DVIDB Executive Board for approval during the 2015 CEC meeting in San Diego; it has been posted on the website for input from the field. I did not receive any input on this paper. Sandra Lewis completed a new position paper on the expanded core curriculum that is attached and is ready to be presented to the DVIDB Executive Board meeting in St. Louis at the 2016 DVIDB Executive Board meeting.
