For each specific skill selected, respondents were asked to indicate the reason (Skills Practice, Teach, Referral and Evaluation) for teaching that skill. A "reason percentage" was calculated by dividing the number of times a reason was selected by the number of times that skill was selected. Table 1 suggests that the respondents had a clear divide between skill areas addressing non-cane instruction.
