Winter 2012 board members who are moving off the board. These individuals have sacrificed time, energy, expertise, and money to serve DVI. These are some of the finest people I know and am honored to have worked with them for the past two years. Those moving off the board are: Phyllis Simmons (past- president), Diane Pevsner (secretary), Barbara Johnson (director), Edna Johnson (director), Stacy Kelly (director), and Susan Osterhaus (director). I would especially like to thank Phyllis for her service. She led DVI through a very difficult time with professionalism, kindness, and vigor. While we hope to see all of these past board members at future events, I am also excited to see new faces on the board this year. We held elections in October and the body elected a wonderful group of leaders. The new DVI officers are Dr. Diane Pevsner, president-elect, and Dr. Tessa Wright, secretary. We also added five new directors to the board: Dr. Tanni Anthony, Tara McCarthy, Dr. Martin Monson, Dr. Sinikka Smothers, and Adam Wilton.
