The Exemplary Advocate Award honors a person who has done something of significance to promote the quality of life for people who are blind and visually impaired. Dr. Anthony currently serves as the Colorado State Consultant on Visual Impairments, the Project Director for the Colorado Services for Children and Youth with Combined Vision and Hearing Loss (Deaf-blind Project), and currently as the Director of the Access, Learning, and 16
