task is to get our members to load the Portal with their accessible online courses. We have made some progress and some courses are posted. The Hadley School for the Blind's library of 112 accessible online courses; The Baruch College City University of New York Computer Center for Visually Impaired People accessible online courses; has a course on Voiceover and the iPad E.A.S.I. (Equal Access to Software and Information) catalogue; The Carroll Center for the Blind course catalogue; and The Washington State School for the Blind (WSSB) popular video clips and online courses. CANnect is also in the process of securing the following: The UK-based Royal National Institute for blind people (RNIB) online training videos; The American Foundation for the Blind (AFB) webinars; The Texas School for the Blind accessible online courses and webinars; and CNIB (the Canadian Institute for the Blind) online courses targeted to seniors in rural areas We look forward to the day when harried parents and teachers can come to the CANnect portal and find in one search all meaningful accessible online courses that fill the needs of their children/students who are blind and we invite you to create such courses to post on our CANnect Portal: Course Catalogue. 33
