VIDBE-Q 2026 Volume 71 Issue 3 for improvement. Coinciding with the acceptability ratings, students reported that VIT-TAY prepared them for real interviews and helped them learn what to say, with several describing it as "very helpful." One student shared, "it helped me prepare for a real life job interview as well as how to word a sentence formally and professionally when responding to the interviewer." Students appreciated the program's interactive format (e.g., "how interactive it was") and the variety of questions, responses, and positions (e.g., "plenty of options to choose from"). Several commented on the value of receiving feedback on their responses; for example, "I liked how there was feedback after every answer. It makes it more informative for me and I will keep it in mind when I go into a real job interview." Areas for improvement included more realistic and flexible response options (e.g., "provide more realistic responses") and shorter sessions with clear progress indicators (e.g., "a way to show your progress"). Some students recommended smoother screen reader navigation and a less cluttered layout, with one suggesting "a more seamless interaction with screen readers" and "making the whole interface less cluttered." Overall, their responses highlighted the strengths of VIT-TAY, including its varied questions, structured response options, feedback, and interactivity. However, some students found the responses unrealistic and felt that the interface could be more user-friendly, indicating room for improvement. Interview Instruction Framework 18
