But it's also been nice to hear other people's perspectives and be surrounded by people who want to change the future of the low vision community and can see areas of improvement." – Addison Adult Advisory Board Our Adult Advisory Board members similarly meet monthly to share their perspectives from personal and professional experiences to support advocacy, inclusion, accessibility, and the effectiveness of EMPOWER VI activities and materials. Board members reside in multiple states and occupy a variety of professions, contributing a diverse range of perspectives. Empowering young minds to reach their full potential, regardless of their circumstances, is a cornerstone of a just and equitable society. This project is not just about creating online courses; it's about opening doors to endless possibilities for youth who are blind in rural communities and leveling the educational playing field.
