VIDBE-Q 2025 Volume 70 Issue 2 school connected with Adaptive Design Association, a small New York City-based non-profit, to manufacture a tangible symbol set. The standardized symbols were chosen by leaders in the school for their durability and relevancy to their students' schedules. Every classroom had a full set of 39 symbols and some of the students had a few individualized tangible symbols from before. See Figure 1 for an example tangible symbol set.
