VIDBE-Q Volume 69 Issue 1 partnership with the Texas Education Agency and the State Board of Educator Certification to make this dream a reality and ensure the availability of qualified personnel for all children who are deafblind in Texas. Decades of advocacy work led us to this exciting leap forward for our children and young adults who are deafblind and their families. Figure 3 The Texas Deafblind Project Hosts the Deafblind Interagency Taskforce Meeting As we continue our important work, the Texas Deafblind Project will continue to lift family and individual voices to ensure that this lowest incidence population in Texas will receive the highest quality services, to enable children and students who are deafblind to learn, communicate, and interact with the world.
