VIDBE-Q Volume 67 Issue 4 Every state and two territories (Washington, DC and Virgin Islands) are included in projects in some form, even though the management and structure of the project may vary. For example, the New England Consortium of Deafblind Technical Assistance and Training comprises five states; Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. Additionally, Washington, DC is managed by the Maryland project, the Pacific Islands are managed by Hawaii project, and the Virgin Islands are managed by the Florida project. All data was aggregated and reported in this article. In addition, the interview process provided the opportunity to collect additional information beyond that found through the survey. Please note that the survey could not be conducted anonymously as was the original intention, due to the need for full nationwide participation. The following questions were posed (Q = question, R = response): 1. Q: Approximately how many students with deafblindness in your state are currently receiving intervener services? R: The majority of SDBPs reported that there are currently students who are receiving services from an intervener in the classroom setting.
