7 VIDBE-Q Volume 63 Issue 4 many of us as individuals. Although O&M was not a great love of Dr. Hatton who focused her expertise on issues related to early childhood and building up the research literature around evidence-based practices, Dr. Hatton was one of the hardest workers I knew with an unbridled love of learning. The body of work she created throughout her career truly exemplifies the progress that is possible when we look to learn from other professions and those with unique perspectives. I sincerely hope Deborah would have found the spirit of this issue a fitting tribute.
